The British Institute of Recruiters has opened the Split-Fee Network, a members-only board inside ior.org where a BIOR Agency Member posts a role its own agency cannot fill and other Agency Members with the right candidate respond with one click. The two agencies then deal directly on the BIOR Split-Fee Agreement 2026, a member resource that sets out whose client it is, whose candidate it is, the split and when it is paid. BIOR is not a party to the agreement, takes no commission and holds no money.
Every posting describes the role and never the client, is read by BIOR within one working day, and closes on its deadline. Every agency on the board is named with its mark, BIOR Certified where the business has passed the Institute's assessment, otherwise BIOR Member, so an agency responding to a role knows exactly who posted it.
Visitors and individual members can see the board's preview, the number of roles open and the latest of them with the client and the poster hidden. Posting, seeing who posted and responding are part of Agency Membership. The board is in beta for its first weeks, and every page carries a "Report a problem" note.
