In brief. Every business on this page holds a current BIOR credential. Click a name to see its verification page, with the credential, the date it was issued and the date it runs to. If a recruiter tells you they are BIOR certified and they are not here, ask them for their membership number and check it at ior.org/verify.

What certified means

A certified recruitment business has committed to the BIOR Code of Professional and Ethical Conduct, has been assessed against it, and is kept current on the employment law that governs agency work, including the Fair Work Agency's enforcement of minimum wage, holiday pay and agency worker rules. Certification is renewed every year. If it lapses, the listing comes off this page and the verification page says so.

For employers

Choosing a certified business is the simplest check you can make before you sign terms. From 30 October 2026 you share responsibility for the treatment of agency workers on your sites, so who you work with matters more than it did.

For candidates

A certified business has agreed to a published code that covers how you are treated, what you are told and how you are paid. If something goes wrong, there is a complaints procedure you can use.

For recruiters

If your business is not here and you think it should be, Agency Membership and Certification is explained at ior.org/agency-membership.
