Each standard is assessed by the methods and grading in its published assessment plan, by an independent end-point assessor who was not involved in the apprentice's training. Assessments run online, or face to face where the plan requires it. Training providers and apprentices get mock tests, toolkits, telephone support and an online tracking system for the gateway and the assessment dates.
The current list of standards and the fee for each is on summitqualifications.co.uk/assessment-standards. Payment terms are agreed with the training provider before the first gateway.
